Не хочу ничего делать... Надоело...
Сегодня с Юлей обсуждали сложившуюся ситуацию... Пришли к выводу, что слегка ошиблись ВУЗом, неточность такая маленькая вышла. Реально, бухучет я терпеть не могу, практически все предметы не перевариваю, мне не интересно, домашки много, я не справляюсь... Вообще, все вызывает какое-то отторжение и отвращение!
И еще эта дурацкая погода, когда сыро и холодно, а мне пешком от метро до универа далеко идти... Никакого нет желания что-либо делать, куда-либо идти. Хочется завернуться в одеяло и наконец-то выспаться... А то мой хронический недосып меня скоро доконает... У меня и так уже темные круги под глазами с лица не сходят.
Так, накачалась кофе, чтоб не уснуть, буду писать реферат по бухучету. Достало...

Вчера закончила читать "Командир и штурман". Это было великолепно, просто потрясающе... Еще нигде я не встречала таких потрясающих поисаний морских сражений. Чего стоило последнее сражение, в котором принимал участие Джек Обри, главный ерой этой книги, и последующее преследование. Я помню, что в этот момент очень сильно переживала, уйдут ли они от погони или нет. Вот мне приходит на ум сравнение, что когда я слушаю определенное классическое произведение, я ясно вижу перед глазами круги, расходящиеся по поверхности воды в фонтане, окружающий сад, дворец. Но самое главное для меня эти круги на воде... Не знаю, как будто музыка сама рисует мне эту картину. Так и здесь, пока я читала эту замечательную сцену, я просто физически ощцщала этот запах моря, соленые брызги, как корабль зарывается носом в воду, а потом взлетает на волне, слышала шум от разворачиваемых парусов. Со мной достаточно редко такое происходит... И я готова была орать "Ребята, давайте, вперед! Не сдавайтесь французу!!!"
Хотя у меня есть кое-какие нарекания к этой книге, я смело могу поставить ей 10 из 10 даже за один только этот эпизод. Настолько шикарных моментов я уже давно не припомню среди того, что я читала в обозримом прошлом. С удовольствием приступила к чтению "Капитана первого ранга". Надеюсь, это будет не менее интересно.

Я все еще за компом... Делаю менеджмент. Пока что я успела напечатать доклад, сделать по нему презентацию и записать все это на дискетку. Так, еще страничку бреда, все распечатать, и я свободна...

Прошел месяц учебы... Вот я думаю, чего же я добилась? Какие я могу назвать достижения? А собственно, никаких достижений у меня нет... Вот я вроде учусь, делаю д/з, а никаких результатов нет. У меня такое впечатление, что я ни на сантиметр не сдвинулась по сравнению с тем уровнем, на котором я была первого сентября. Столько времени утекло, а ничего не сделано... А скоро грядет аттестация. Не хотелось бы, чтобы она была троечная...
Вообще вся учеба - это что-то беспросветное, давящее и бесконечно тоскливое... Нет никакой перспективы, одна сплошная серость. И от этого нельзя отделаться. Оно преследует тебя везде, даже во сне.
Слава богу, остаются какие-то маленькие радости каждый день: интересные книги, любимые фильмы, музыка. Вот теперь взяла себе за правило хотя бы те 15-20 минут, в течение которых я еду с утра в метро, не тратить на повторение домашки, а читать книгу, чтобы начать день с чего-то позитивного что ли (хотя он и так начинается с подъема в семь утра, какой уж тут позитив). Но хотя бы на эти несколько минут я могу забыть о дурацкой учебе и погрузиться в иной мир. Я в восторге от того, что пишет Патрик О'Брайан, вот сейчас скоро закончу "Хозяина морей". Прекрасный исторический роман, описывающий в мельчайших подробностях эпоху наполеоновских войн и жизнь на борту корабля британского флота.

In response to the interest of millions of Patrick O'Brian fans, here is the final, partial installment of the Aubrey/Maturin series.
Blue at the Mizzen (novel #20) ended with Jack Aubrey getting the news, in Chile, of his elevation to flag rank: Rear Admiral of the Blue Squadron, with orders to sail to the South Africa station. The next novel, unfinished and untitled at the time of the author's death, would have been the chronicle of that mission, and much else besides. The three chapters left on O'Brian's desk at the time of his death are presented here both in printed version-including his corrections to the typesсript-and a facsimile of his manusсript, which goes several pages beyond the end of the typesсript to include a duel between Stephen Maturin and an impertinent officer who is courting his fiancée.
Of course we would rather have had the whole story; instead we have this proof that O'Brian's powers of observation, his humor, and his understanding of his characters were undiminished to the end.

Так, ладно, все уже сто раз слышали мои восторги по поводу фильма "Звуки музыки". Я вчера снова имела удовольствие его смотреть... Такой добрый, домашний фильм...

Сегодня долго боролась с искушением купить "Престиж" на английском. Какие это были муки! То возьму книжку в руки, то положу на место, то снова возьму и прочитаю абзац, полистаю, потом снова положу. В итоге победила моя жаба, которая начала меня активно душить при упоминании о цене.
"Престиж" остался одиноко стоять на полке магазина... Ну, нет, я за ним еще вернусь!

Залезла в иностранный интернет-магазин... Ох, зря я это сделала. Не будет мне теперь покоя!

Хочу все эти книжечки! И плевать, что они на английском! Все равно у нас это не издадут. А я бы с удовольствием прочла бы все эти замечательные произведения.



А еще мне хочется в коллекцию вот эти диски... Мое собственное издание теперь кажется мне на редкость убогеньким.




А еще слышала очень нехорошую новость: в интернете ползут слухи, что скоро фильмы будут выпускать без оригинальной дорожки. Это было бы крайне прискорбно.

Сколько уже раз меня спасала музыка из "Криминального чтива". Сегодня только благодаря ей проснулась после двух с половиной часового сна. Пришлось заставить мобилу сыграть несколько раз эту замечательную энергичную мелодию, чтобы я наконец бодренько вскочила.
Купила себе сегодня еще две книги "Хозяина морей", так как первая мне нравится. Надеюсь все это прочитать... Единственное, в "Хозяине морей" каждое второе слово - морской термин, поэтому чтобы читать надо сначало вызубрить названия парусов в начале книги и словарик терминов в конце.
